Before we can get started with the fun stuff, let’s make sure you have everything you need. Since this class is just covering the basics for decorating this Easter cookie set, you’ll need to have sugar cookie and royal icing recipes (and all of the supplies that go with those) on hand. Beyond that there are some additional decorating supplies to gather…

• Meringue Powder
• Tipless Piping Bags
• Gel Food Coloring (I recommend “Americolor” brand)
  • Taupe
  • Ivory
  • Dusty Rose (or an alternate light pink)
  • Royal Blue (or similar)
  • Leaf Green (or similar)
  • Gold (or similar)
• An edible ink marker
• A scribe tool (or pointy toothpick)
• A penblade or sharp paring knife for cutting dough
• Sharp scissors
• A rolling pin (ideally with thickness guides)
